Shenzhen – ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, has announced that it is now one of the world’s leading vendors of essential patents (EP) for LTE standards, securing 235 patents.

As of 30 November 2010, ZTE had a 7% share of the total LTE essential patents declared on the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) online database of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
