Oxford and the surrounding suburbs and county towns including Abingdon, Banbury, Bicester, Didcot, Wallingford, Wantage and Witney has a vibrant and extensive cultural life to suit all tastes from traditional English folk music, dance, jazz to classics of drama, television, film and opera. This is not surprising given the network of commercial, university and public entertainment facilities available in Oxford and the surrounding area.
