CHILTERN RAILWAYS TRAVEL ADVISORY:

 September 29th and September 30th  2007All this weekend, engineering work is being carried out between Birmingham and London Marylebone via High Wycombe.A normal service will operate on Saturday between Aylesbury and London Marylebone via AmershamOn Sunday, engineering work is being carried out until 10am between Aylesbury and Amersham  Main advice:  Passengers should check before travelling at www.chilternrailways.co.ukThis weekend – Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September – engineering works are being carried and we are therefore, advising passengers to check before they travel and be prepared for an increase to their journey time.On Saturday, there is a revised timetable with train diversions between Birmingham and London Marylebone via High Wycombe.  This includes:·        No Chiltern Railways services operating between Dorridge, Birmingham Snow Hill and Kidderminster.·        One train per hour running between London Marylebone and Coventry.·        One train per hour running between London Marylebone and Dorridge.·        Buses replacing trains between Dorridge and Birmingham Snow Hill.·        Stratford trains operating only between Leamington Spa and Stratford-Upon-Avon.·        The 2140 service from London Marylebone to Birmingham is replaced by a bus from Banbury.Passengers travelling from Birmingham to London Marylebone, and other Chiltern stations south of Leamington Spa, are advised to use Virgin or Central Trains services from Birmingham New Street and change at Coventry for Chiltern Railways services to London Marylebone.   Passengers travelling from London Marylebone (and other Chiltern stations south of Leamington Spa) to Birmingham are advised to change at Coventry and use Virgin or Central Trains services to Birmingham New Street.   Chiltern Railways tickets on Virgin Trains and Central Trains between Birmingham New Street and Coventry will be accepted (normal Chiltern ticket restrictions apply). However, please note that holders of E-day tickets must travel between London Marylebone and Dorridge and change at Dorridge for buses to/from Birmingham Snow Hill.On Sunday, there will be a revised timetable with some track diversions between Birmingham and London Marylebone via High Wycombe.    This includes:·        No Chiltern Railways services operating between Warwick Parkway, Stratford-upon-Avon and Birmingham Snow Hill·        One train per hour running between London Marylebone and Birmingham New Street.·        One train per hour running between London Marylebone and Warwick Parkway.·        Buses replacing trains between Warwick Parkway, Solihull, Dorridge and Birmingham Snow Hill.·        Buses replacing trains between Warwick Parkway and Stratford-upon-Avon.·        Buses replacing trains between West Ruislip and London Marylebone until 0900.Passengers travelling between London Marylebone and Birmingham should use Chiltern Railways services between Birmingham New Street and London Marylebone.  Passengers travelling between London and Stratford-upon-Avon should change at Warwick Parkway for the rail replacement bus service.
On Sunday, we will operate only between Aylesbury and Amersham until 10.00.
